The Lythrodontas MTB by Agios Mnason is the latest of the international MTB races to be organised in Cyprus!

Since its first edition in 2016, the organiser of the event Agios Mnason bike club, set as its main objective to give young Cypriot riders the opportunity to race against other European athletes in a well-organised event on home soil, creating thus incentives for progress and improvement. Since 2019 the event is a UCI C3 race.

The venue of the event, right outside the Lexeko Estate, inside the beautiful pine forest of Lythrodontas. Agios Mnason is working with the Community Council of Lythrodontas and the Forest Department to create at the race venue a mountain bike training center and a trail hub.

The course is 4,5km long with 125m of climbing per lap. It combines a good balance flowy trails and steep technical sections to create one of the most fun MTB courses in Cyprus!

The 2020 race was won by Scott Sram super-star Kate Courtney and the Austrian champion Karl Markt!
