Reflecting on the worldwide increasing popularity of gravel riding Activate Cyprus is introducing to Cyprus a new event with the moto "Gravel is a Spirit". 

A full week of gravel riding, gravel racing and off-the-bike activities (like yoga, wine and beer tasting, traditional cooking, bike-related workshops etc) is expected to keep the participants and their families busy and content! At the same time the accommodation in the Tochni bike village, with it's traditional houses and rustic appartments will put the cherry on the cake!

Coming from the organisers of the world-renown Cyprus Sunshine Epic (formerly Cyprus Sunshine Cup) and the very popular Cyprus Gran Fondo, Troodos Sports & Fun Festival, Pafos Triathlon and OlympusMan, the organizational level is expected to be top-notch.

We believe that Gravel is a Spirit, driven by adventure, the desire to explore and to discover, to exist out of your confort zone, to be bold, to immerse yourself in nature, to have a free plan, to ride free!. Gravel is a spirit, not a trend, not just a mode of exercise- the wattage is not a factor here- and the performance is not the main drive.

This week is an ode to all adventurous riders out there who cannot resist taking the road less travelled. Come and let us show you the most undiscovered roads of Cyprus.

Of course it goes without saying that no gravel adventure is complete without the after-party. We love to ride but we also like: good specialty coffee, a rare brew, trying new food, talking bikes, pump tracks, music and barbeques.
