The Cyprus Gran Fondo (formerly Volkswagen Cyprus Cycling Tour) is a 3-day "Cycling for All" road bike event, which, since 2017, is featured among the biggest amateur cycling events of the UCI as part of the Gran Fondo World Series for cyclists ranging from pros to beginners.

The event is organised by Activate Cyprus and will be held in Pafos region during the last weekend of March 2021 for the eighth consecutive year. 

Starting every day next to the Mediterranean coast, the riders are challenged to climb some of the nicest mountains of the island and pass through traditional and rustic villages, enjoying the Cyprus weather and nature, before returning back to some of the best hotels in Paphos to enjoy their off-the-bike time!

Every stage of the event provides the opportunity for recreational riders to qualify for the Gran Fondo World Championships held every year. Qualifications are available both for the Time trial and the Road Race of the Gran Fondo World Championships.

Our idea is to bring passionate cyclists together, professional and amateurs riding shoulder to shoulder, to enjoy the amazing Cyprus nature and have fun in a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.
