Anorthosis Famagusta is one of the oldest sports clubs in Cyprus. With its natural base in the occupied ghost city of Varoshia in Famagusta, the club is a point of reference in sports for all famagustian refugees. It is temporarily based in Larnaca.

The Cycling department of Anorthosis Famagusta was created in 2017. The same year it became a member of the Cyprus Cycling Federation. It's targets are to participate in national and local cycling events as well as in high profile races abroad.

Besides the racing scope, the Cycling Department of Anorthosis Famagusta aims to develop, spread and promote the social of cycling as a means of transport, sport and entertainment, but also to assist in educating both cyclists and motor vehicle drivers to acquire the correct road behavior.

The future activities of the Cycling Department include the organization, support and participation in sporting and social events, but also the creation of a bike School, which will allow kids to learn the sport of cycling, develop a sporty lifestyle, improve their physical and mental state and finally, develop them into the sprouts for the formation of the future racing team!
